I was born in the magnificent Lake Forest Illinois and grew up in the prominent city of Waukegan. Starting at an early age of eight, I begun using photography and other forms of art. Continuing throughout my life, mastering light, experimenting with other mediums, including abstract painting, ceramics, and creative writing, and a vigorously intense black and white photography tour through Europe for ten months studying at Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy. I preceded to graduate from Columbia College Chicago in May 2007, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.

 

I have had multiple group exhibitions throughout the Midwest USA and in Florence, Italy,
of my Fine Art Photography.

I am currently a freelance photojournalist at Chicago Tribune Media Group, Chicago Sun-Times,
The Lake County News-Sun, and Pioneer Press of Illinois, covering Local News, Spot News, and Sports.

I am a Wedding/Event photographer at Kirk Mcgee Studio and Corporate Outing/Event Photographer
at Bright-I-Event Planning and Consulting.

I am a photographer and the owner of The Mark Photography, Inc, which specializes in Editorial,
Documentary, Candid, Sports, and Fine Art Photography

I have had publications of my photographs in several News Papers in the Chicagoland area: Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, The Lake County News-Sun, Libertyville Review, Lake Forester, Highland Park News, Deerfield Review, Lincolnshire Review, Mundelein Review, Vernon Hills Review, Barrington Courier-Review, Lake Zurich Courier, Park Ridge Herald-Advocate, Lincolnwood Review, Northbrook Star, Winnetka Talk, Buffalo Grove Countryside, Evanston Review, Glencoe News, Morton Grove Champion, Niles Herald-Spectator, Skokie Review, Arlington Heights Post, and the Daily Herald.
